Stiffness is an indicator to measure the flexural strength of paper. Paper Stiffness Tester is a dedicated instrument to measure the stiffness of paper. This product is designed based on the principle of static bending, conforming to the requirement of ISO 5628:1990—Paper and board -- Determination of bending stiffness by static methods -- General principles.
This instrument adopts high precise miniature sensor. After being upgraded, the test stability, accuracy, and sensitivity of the product are greatly improved. Thus it is suitable for testing the bending stiffness of low quantitative paper.
This product is designed based on the principle of static bending, which is: to bend a free end that is clamping the test sample when the sample is bent to a certain angle, the resistance is the bending stiffness (the unit is mN), or to record the arithmetic product of the resistance and the length of the test sample (the unit is mN.m).
